- Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum complex (exterior only on Mondays and Fridays), his former residence and the One Pillar Pagoda.
- Lunch at a local restaurant.
- Afternoon at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university.
- 18:00 Thang Long water puppet show, then dinner at a halal-friendly restaurant.
